The centerpiece of the “Hamilton” musical’s plot is the biography of Alexander Hamilton, best known for being a founding father of the USA. He was born to the poor family and was depicted as a frontiersman from West Indies but has greatly succeeded in his political career. After the revolutionary events, he became the first Secretary of the Treasury and influential promoter of U.S. Constitution.

The creator of the show is Lin-Manuel Miranda who also played the role of Alexander Hamilton in its original production. He wrote the music, songs and the script for the musical. It is worth noting, that musical accompaniment of Hamilton represents a great blend of classical Broadway melodies and modern hip-hop, R&B and jazz. The performance was highly appreciated by both audience and theater critics shortly after its premiere and received 11 Tony Awards.

DCPA Broadway subscribers can buy the tickets on the presale from January 16 at 10 a.m. and until 11:59 p.m, January 18. It means they have an opportunity to choose the best seats before the global sales. Those people will be notified via e-mail and get a link to the purchase page. Each subscriber may acquire only two tickets. Of course, DCPA does not guarantee them tickets, because there are a limited number of them. All tickets are single, group tickets are unavailable.

Producer Jeffrey Seller warns the theater-goers about a possible fraud on the websites of secondary ticketing services. He recommends acquiring tickets only on the official website to avoid overcharge and other dire consequences.
His comment on the current situation:

“There are a lot of third-party companies and people which sell overpriced or even fake tickets. They speculate on the high popularity of the show and, as the result, a high demand. You should be careful: the best method to get a guaranteed way in at a fair price is to order it at hamilton.denvercenter.org.”
